Getting Started

This guide walks you through connecting your wallet, depositing collateral, and executing your first trade on Airframe.

Connect Your Wallet

Airframe supports all major Ethereum wallets through RainbowKit. Click "Connect Wallet" and select your preferred provider.

Supported wallets include MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect-compatible wallets, and hardware wallets.

Deposit Collateral

Before trading, deposit collateral. Airframe accepts USDC on supported chains:

• Base
• Optimism
• Polygon

Click "Deposit" in the Account panel, select your token and amount, then approve the transaction. Deposits using EIP-2612 permits are gasless.

Create a Trading Session

To enable gasless order execution, create a trading session. This generates an ephemeral signing key stored locally in your browser.

Sessions can be configured for 1 hour, 4 hours, or 24 hours. Your main wallet signs a permission granting the session key authority to submit orders.

Execute Your First Trade

With collateral deposited and a session active, you're ready to trade:

• Select a market from the Market Selector
• Choose Buy (long) or Sell (short)
• Enter your position size
• For limit orders, specify your limit price
• Click Submit Order

Orders are signed by your session key and submitted instantly—no wallet popup, no gas required.
